The \u201cPIN\u201d structure (P-type, Intrinsic, N-type) offers high-speed response and low capacitance \u2014 critical for high-bandwidth optical links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ltfont-panel-inneos has-medium-font-size\">In combination with a TIA (transimpedance amplifier), the photodetector forms the receive side of an optical link.
